When viewing your search results, click on the green ribbon to the right of the item to place a hold. Enter your library barcode and password. The default password is the word "patron."
You can also place a hold by clicking on the title, then click on the blue "Place a Hold" button on the left side of the screen. You'll see a confirmation at the top and your requested title will now appear on your Holds page.
If we don't have the item, the system will choose it from a library in our system that does have it available for delivery. You will be notified by phone (or email if you signed up for this service) when your item is available for pickup here at MPLD.
Note: If you can't wait for the item to be delivered and don't mind going to another library to pick it up, click the drop-down menu under "On the Shelves Now” to see which libraries in our system have the item on the shelf.
