Download Digital Content
-
The library offers thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks in its digital collection through the North Suburban Digital Consortium using a distributor called OverDrive. Once you download the appropriate software, you won't have to do it again; you can simply go to OverDrive, search for an item, click on "download" and enjoy.
Download eBooks, eAudiobooks, and animated picture books to your home computer, whether desktop, laptop or a portable device like smart phones, tablets and eReaders. You need a valid McHenry Public Library District library card to use this service.
Most digital items are essentially "checked out" for a period of 14 days (you can change it to 7); after that they are automatically returned to the digital catalog.
